Nathaniel Joseph Ruess (pronounced / ruːs / ROOSS; [2] born February 26, 1982) [3] is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known as the founder and lead singer of the indie pop band Fun, and of the Format. [4] As of 2015, he also performs as a solo musician.
